We have been acting for a delightful client (now aged 71) who was unhappy with treatment which she received from SEQOL in Swindon during February 2016.

Briefly, she had been admitted to hospital following an earlier fall. She was then discharged to her home and cared for by nurses employed by SEQOL.

Some 3 weeks later she had to be readmitted to hospital. It was noted that she had a Grade 4 sacral pressure sore (which had become infected) and a Grade 3 left heel pressure sore. She required 6 weeks of intravenous antibiotics and it took several months for these pressure sores to heal.

There really was no defence to this claim. The parties were able to reach a settlement without the need to issue proceedings at Court.

S J Edney solicitors obtained compensation of £15,000.00 for this client during 2018
