We acted for a client (now aged 61) who was at work on a building site, plastering the top of a wall, when his foot got caught underneath a protruding radiator tail pipe which had not been cut or pinned back to the wall. As a result of catching his foot, our client fell to the floor, fracturing his right wrist and sustaining cuts and bruises to his head. He was unable to work for several months and suffered a significant loss of earnings.

The building services company initially denied liability and Court proceedings were commenced. We were able to settle the claim before trial.

S. J. Edney solicitors obtained compensation of £50,000 for this client during 2015
